A traditional ceramic mortar suribachi. Glazed outside for a ecru colour, ridged inside. Perfect for grinding and crushing - sesame seeds, nuts, almonds, spices. Great tool to make Japanese gomasio, pesto or just garlic butter. Set with wooden pestle. Silicon ring underside so the mortar does not move on the table while grinding.
