Matcha bowl irabo 500ml
Traditional bowl for matcha tea handmade in Kyoto. The cup is made of rough clay with small sand stones, but delicate. Thin layer of glaze in natural - yellow and brown colours. Irabo chawans were popular in 16 century, when ascetic style of the way of tea (wabi-cha) was prevailing in Japan. A big fan of this style was famous tea master Sen-no Rikyu.
The cup is made in traditional way and is a beautiful object of art.
