An elegant tea set for two, handmade in Kenji Touen's workshop in Tokoname. Tokoname ceramics are considered ideal for brewing green tea, as the iron contained in the clay from this region enhances the flavour of the tea. The vessels are made using a technique called nerikomi - a mixture of several colours of clay that form impressive, unique patterns resembling wood grains. A classic kyusu teapot with a precisely made ceramic strainer at the spout and two tea cups. Beautiful vessels for brewing not only green tea. The studio's signature on the bottom of the teapot.

Due to the handmade nature of the vessels, there may be slight differences in the pattern, colour and dimensions.
