Original tea cup handmade by Sho Keiichiro, an artist from Hgai town. Characteristic of the Hagi region, coarse-grained clay in brick-colored, traditional gohonte style. Gray-beige glaze with irregular orange circles, which are formed around the grains of sand during the firing of the pottery. The cup is relatively large in size - great for a large serving of coffee or tea. The cup is signed on the bottom and packed in a beautiful wooden box with the artist's name engraved on it - it can be an original gift for a fan of the highest quality ceramics.

Sho Keiichiro is a ceramic artist who lives and creates in the well-known center of Hagi. He began to learn the ceramic craft when he was a high school student, and as he grew older he gained experience and skill in creating beautiful and unique vessels. Sho Keiichiro is particularly interested in tea ceramics, and creates in accordance with several centuries of tradition, from which, he says, comes the “warmth” of the vessels produced in Hagi. However, he adds an artistic touch to classic techniques, and his works are highly regarded by experts in ceramic art.
