Original Japanese matcha tea bowl. Made in the Japanese ceramic workshop Shutoen in Hagi. Bright clay and beautiful glazing in pastel pink and white. Note the original shape and the beautiful irregular glaze runs on the walls of the vessel. There are impressive cracks in the glaze on the bottom. Haruhonoka means ‘a bit of spring’ - this tea bowl is like nature waking up - it has the colour of delicate spring flowers. The signature of the studio is on the underside of the vessel. The teapot can also be a beautiful bowl for snacks.
