Oribe teacup hana 100ml
A Japanese ceramic teacup, handcrafted and decorated at the renowned traditional Shiokusa workshop in Seto. Made from the light-colored clay characteristic of this region, it is glazed with a transparent glaze and, in some places, a green glaze. Underglaze decorations feature traditional floral and geometric motifs. These are typical characteristics of the traditional Oribe ceramic style, named after Furuta Oribe, a 16th-century Japanese tea master. Note the irregular shape, striking glaze drips and dark brown underglaze designs. Traditional Japanese ceramic craftsmanship.
Features:
- traditional Japanese setoyaki ceramics
- handmade and decorated, irregular shape

- volume is measured to the top edge of the vessel - “practical” capacity is slightly smaller
Dimensions:
- Diameter 5,5cm
- Height 7cm
