An original cup for sake or high-quality tea. Handcrafted and decorated in the traditional oribe style. Its name derives from Furuta Oribe, a 16th-century master of the tea ceremony. Vessels in this style were highly appreciated in the tea world and remain so to the present day. This cup is a beautiful example of contemporary Japanese applied art. Light-coloured clay, kannyu crackling and classic decorations featuring plant motifs. Characteristic glaze in a deep green colour.
