Mini matcha bowl tokusa grey - white 270ml
A small teacup for preparing matcha tea. Delicately irregular shape, ‘wavy’ edge and subdued colours. Traditional Japanese tokusa pattern. Literally translated, it means ‘ten grasses’ - the Japanese name for winter horsetail, which has straight, tall stems. It grows quickly and is resistant even to harsh conditions - in Japan it is a symbol of well-being and prosperity. Due to its small size, use a small chasen or electric milk frother to prepare matcha in this cup. The cup is also perfect for other teas or as a small bowl for desserts and snacks.
