    Shiraore Ureshino Tea 80g

Shiraore (also known as kukicha or karigane) is a tea consisting of young tea bush stems and leaf particles. It is a product that is created during the production of leaf tea. Shiraore Ureshino consists of small and delicate tea stems from the first spring harvest in April and is a blend of teas from the Ureshino and Kagoshima regions in southern Japan (Kyushu). Shiraore tea has an intense green color and a distinct floral aroma. The taste of the infusion is subtle but refreshing, with delicate notes of sweetness.

Cultivar - yutakamidori and saemidori, harvest time - spring (April) 2025.

    Properties

Shiraore is a tea with a low caffeine content, which is why it is also recommended for children and the elderly. It can also be drunk in the evening. At the same time, shiraore tea, like other green teas, contains polyphenols, which have antioxidant benefits.

    Dishes

Shiraore is usually prepared in Japan in small (approx. 300 ml) teapots called kyusu. These are teapots with a characteristic handle perpendicular to the spout. You will find them in many designs in our gallery. Shiraore cups are also small, often gently flaring towards the top. In Japan, it is said that cups that are light in color inside allow you to enjoy the emerald color of the tea.
