Haruhonoka means “a touch of spring” in Japanese. It is a limited edition sencha tea produced every year in early spring at the Hoshino tea garden in Yame. It is a deep steamed sencha with the addition of flat tencha leaves, which are used to produce matcha tea. Sweet and salty umami notes, the spring color of fresh green, and a beautiful aroma are the characteristics of this unique tea.
