Teapot houhin lilac murasaki 220ml
Elegant teapot made of esteemed Japanese hagiyaki ceramic. The masters of the way of tea in the 16th century used to say “first raku, second hagi, third karatsu” - hagiyaki tea pottery was one of the most prized in Japan and remains so today. The vessel is made of light-colored clay and covered with a glossy lily-white glaze. The characteristic hagiyaki mesh of cracks on the glaze - kannyu - will become more and more distinct over time as it is used. The houhin teapot does not have a handle, and it is also relatively small in size - it is suitable for preparing of high-grade teas, which are brewed at a lower temperature - about - 60-70 degrees.
